The location is close to everything we wanted to do, just 1 mile away from Skiwiese Hasselkopf, perfect for our trip.

We loved the hotel's location next to the mountains, providing great access to outdoor activities such as walks and mountain rides. The facilities are fantastic, including well-maintained swimming pool and saunas. The breakfast buffet was very good, and the staff was excellent and very helpful.
Nothing, no complaints at all.

The indoor pool was amazing! And if it'd been warmer, we'd have used the outdoor one too. Such a nice town too!
The steep climb up to it.

The hotel was set in an excellent position looking down on the town through forest. Our room had a balcony looking down over this view, where we could sit and enjoy the sunshine. The room was of good size with good quality fittings, as was the bathroom, clean and in good decoration. The restaurant also had a good panoramic view, and the food was plentiful, well cooked and of good quality even on the half-board basis. The staff were very helpful considering our lack of German language. The breakfast was particularly good- a very big range of continental and cooked foods of high quality. The swimming pools were large and clean; the saunas too. Outside the hotel there were plenty of activities in the gardens for children and for adults too. The hotel was a short walk from the town and the cable car. The hotel in general was well maintained and the facilities good, and in an excellent location to enjoy the Harz mountains especially if you come by motorbike as there are several good roads leading from Braunlage north and east. It was an excellent hotel to have a relaxing break
It was very quiet as we were staying early in the summer season. Even although there was entertainment at the weekend, the evenings and in the bar were very quiet.I was disappointed at having to pay 8 euros per night for parking in the hotel car park

The hotel is situated in a beautiful location, nestled in the National Park above a charming small town. The rooms are spacious, light, and airy, with balconies that offer breathtaking views of the surrounding forest. The hotel's attention to cleanliness is commendable, as the rooms are kept spotless.
Minor room for improvement, but overall everything was satisfactory.

Excellent on all counts that count! Sumptuous breakfast, children friendly atmosphere, friendly staff, clean room/bathroom, located on the slope of a hill, and close to Wurmberg which is reachable via cable car from the BergTal station very close to the hotel, good trekking tracks in the forest.. Nice English Pub as well!
Dinner buffet is expensive and not that great.. However, if you choose à la carte, there are good options with more reasonable prices.

Excellent view of the mountains.
I paid for reserved parking but when I arrived at 7 pm I was told the car park was full and that I had to park down the hill. I was not pleased about this because I specifically paid for reserved parking so that I would not have to park down the hill. After I maid a complaint, a free space in the reserve parking appeared.

This hotel offers great value for money, with reasonable prices and attention to detail. The location on a hill provides breathtaking views from the balconies, allowing guests to enjoy the lovely surrounding forest scenery. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with some even offering a balcony overlooking the gardens. Additionally, the breakfast served at this hotel is excellent and provides a good start to the day.
Nothing to complain about, everything was satisfactory.

The swimming pool, as it was too cold as our 14mth old was blue within 5 mins of being in the pool. other than that, everything was fine

The location was perfect for winter sports enthusiasts because it was only a short walk from the cable car. The view from our room was also outstanding. the breakfast was above average, offering a good selection of different foods to choose from.
The hotel was quite dated, with some areas in need of renovation. The lifts were slow and appeared to be old.

The quiet location was lovely. The pools were a blessing in the gorgeous hot weather. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly.
fortunately we didnt prebook the parking at 11 euros per day. The hotel will provide a car pass for the car park down the hill and although it's a bit of a climb up the hill (for the unfit!) worth the saving.

The location of the hotel overlooking the attractive small town of Braunlage is excellent. Although parts of the hotel are somewhat old fashioned it provides a very good base for walking or touring this beautiful area of the Harz Mountains. Its excellent indoor swimming pool is a geat feature and the hotel provides a good range of facilities for its more active visitors. Beakfast is a buffet arrangement and is excellent.
The restaurant which is open for dinner provides only average quality fare and we think the standard for a four star hotel should be improved. For lunch at the hotel, the English Pub was the only place available during our stay and the very limited range on offer and its quality was not good enough in our opinion.
